‘A long time coming’: Washington Heights residents laud new outdoor space

Dozens of residents looked on as community and city leaders sawed a board in half, signaling the opening of The Ritz at Washington Heights.

Once-neglected cemetery restored

as place of honor

A platoon of volunteers collaborated with Wreaths Across America to restore Cedar Grove Cemetery, a 1.8-acre burial ground near Beatties Ford Road.
